Did you forget to thaw your ground meat!? Never fear, for this amazing recipe is here to save the day!
Ingredients
1-2 poundsfrozen ground beefpreferably in 1 lb blocks
Instructions
Pour 1 ½ cup water into the bottom of the pot. Place trivet in the pot and lay 1-2 lbs frozen ground beef on top in a single layer.
Set to manual high pressure for 20 minutes.
Carefully do a quick release and check the temperature. It should read 165 degrees. If not, simply reseal and cook for 3-5 more minutes.
Remove meat block from the pot and drain out the liquid. Return to pot and break up meat with a wooden spoon or spatula. Use in your favorite recipe!
Notes
I usually don't check the temperature of the meat. (But this is just my experience) I remove it, drain the liquid and add the meat back in to saute. This completes in cooking that may not have occurred during pressurized cooking.
